simple happiness

I am a sucker for unexplored places. Places not named in a countries top ten tourist attractions. Places that don't have a Starbucks or better yet no tv. Don't get me wrong, I think giving the developing world access to technology, has it's benefits. But I am a lifelong search for a happy medium. We live such complex lives full of constant stimulation and I am a person who tries to find happiness in simplicity. Cultures and communities that have little often find their joy elsewhere and I think it's inspiring to see. This photo essay about Nantwala in Central Uganda is as beautiful as it is touching.
