Happy birthday to me

So it's my birthday. I am the ripe old age of 32 today. It's a little crazy to even write that. It's been a whirlwind of a year - health scares, starting graduate school, trying to find my place in this great big world (although that's a continuous process, I know) - but I'm excited to start a new chapter. In a lot of ways I feel on the verge of a lot of change. Maybe it's moving, maybe a new job, maybe finding a new passion.... but I'm full of anticipation for things to come.

I have an insane sweet tooth but this apple cake and a cup of tea would hit the spot this year.
